Embarking on her musical voyage at the tender age of 8, Windie immersed herself in the world of singing competitions, a testament to her passion and innate talent. This journey of melodic exploration led her to an outstanding victory at 14, clinching the Grand Champion title in the DYWC Teen Idol contest—a pivotal moment that not only celebrated her talent but also paved the way for future opportunities. This triumph connected her with sponsors who supported her educational ambitions, allowing her to pursue and complete a degree in Business Administration at Negros Oriental State University. During her university years, Windie’s musical talents shone brightly as a prominent member of the Kabilin Choir, balancing her academic responsibilities with her fervor for music. Her dedication was recognized when she was honored as Performer of the Year upon her graduation in 2018.

Her venture into the national spotlight continued as she competed in Tawag ng Tanghalan, where she was affectionately dubbed “Ang Mabentang Tinig ng Siquijor” and reached the Semi-Finals. Beyond the stage, Windie has embraced entrepreneurship, co-managing the beloved BuCafe in Siquijor with her fiancé.
