Although Gab Academy formally came together in 2023, the members’ musical journey dates back much further, having honed their craft through years of collaboration and camaraderie. Their chemistry onstage is palpable, stemming from shared experiences and a deep-rooted passion for music.

 Gabrielle Academia, the band’s vocalist, has notably graced the stage alongside some of the Philippines’ most iconic OPM legends and artists at the V1BE B00ZE and ARTS FESTIVAL in CEBU in 2023, sharing the spotlight with luminaries like Rico Blanco, Dilaw, 6Cyclemind, Zild, Shanti Dope, and many more. And in the recent MUSIDLAKAN 2023 with WILLFREEDO, ENCHI, CHELSEA DAWN, HOPIA, SAKSAK SINAKOL, and Milky Lozarita. 

Their accolades speak volumes about their musical prowess, including being crowned PASUC 2018 Regional Champions, achieving the status of PASUC 2018 National Finalists, earning a spot as RAYA Finalists in 2019, and showcasing their songwriting prowess in competitions like the BUGLASAN Songwriting Competition 2022, Vispop Top 60 in 2023, and as finalists for Beetzee Best Songwriter in 2023.
