Competition & Judging
1. Beetzee will choose ten (10) compositions from all entries as the “Best 10”.
2. Beetzee will produce videos for the “Best 10” songs, which will be uploaded to Beetzee’s Youtube and Facebook pages for online judging.
3. The “Best 10” entries will be invited to perform live during the finale, and winners will be announced at the end of the event.
4. A total of two sets winners will be selected: one (1) set from Luzon and (1) set from Visayas and Mindanao.
5. In addition to receiving plaques and cash prizes, the winners will be invited to play at the Oktoberfest hosted by Beetzee on October 2023 in Cebu City.
6. All rights pertaining to the submitted entries shall be reserved for Beetzee, Inc.
7. The decision of Beetzee’s judges at any stage of the competition is deemed final and binding.
Rules
1. Competition is open to all aspiring songwriters and composers.
2. Competition will be held at two concurrent locations: (1) Antipolo for Luzon-based participants and (2) Dumaguete for Visayas and Mindanao-based participants.
3. All submitted song entries must be original and previously unreleased.
4. The use of downloaded, commercial, licensed and/or copyrighted material is strictly prohibited.
5. Participants may submit a maximum of two (2) entries.
6. Entries may be either in English, Tagalog, or Bisaya.
7. Collaborations between songwriters and composers are permitted.
8. Profane language is strictly prohibited and submissions containing such will not be considered.
9. Entries must at least be two (2) minutes long but not exceeding six (6) minutes.
