Batakanay is the biggest rap battle event in Negros Oriental, and it’s going to be a year-long extravaganza of lyrical competition, entertainment, and celebration of the province’s rap scene.
The event will start with the elimination round, where the best MCs from the province will compete for a spot in the next round. The top 16 performers will then move on to the next round of battles after two months, and only the top 8 will progress to the next round. The top 4 will then compete in the semi-final round, with the two best performers advancing to the final battle on November 18.
But that’s not all Batakanay has to offer. In addition to the rap battles, there will be performances by local artists and a live DJ to keep the crowd pumped up throughout the event. Attendees can also enjoy a range of food and drink options, making it the perfect way to spend a night with friends.
